The desk and the wood are not cheaply made. It looks good and holds my son’s stuff. Sturdy and not wobbly.Great deal for wfh. Drawer handle is a little sharp and slice my finger, but I replaced it and love the desk now.I am a pretty strong senior woman who has put together quite a number of furniture products. This product assembly was very difficult and took a great deal of time, several hours over two days. Product material is so dense that it was impossible to hand screw in the screws as directed. Instructions even stated not to use power tools but this project would have never been completed without the use of a power drill to drill holes for screws that the holes were not properly drilled out in manufacturing process. I could not physically screw pieces together as instructed. I had to purchase and learn how to use power drill and screwdriver set. I also had to enlist the help of two hefty men to assist. It took us two days to put this together. It is very wobbly after completion to the point that I am afraid to move it or slide it to try in another location. It shifts sideways with any attempt at movement with everything tightened completely per instructions. Also, there are holes in the metal on the bottom for furniture "feet", but they are not included and not mentioned in instruction booklet. So long metal legs sitting directly on hardwood floors. Had I not invested so much time and money and not being willing to take it apart and try to put it back into the box for return shipment, I would most definitely be shipping it back for refund. The drawer still does not fit and close even after 3 people trying to tighten and adjust. I am not a happy consumer. Do not buy this product unless you have time to throw away and are willing to be disappointed in the end result.This desk is made of low quality particle board and the keyboard drawer broke off before I could even use it. Grommets easily get loosened and the whole desk becomes wobbly, meaning you have to constantly tighten it.I am not able to assemble the drawer that goes with this desk. Three of the main drawer pieces were cracked upon arrival. I’ve contacted the company ….. hopefully they will send the pieces. I’m thankful I could assemble it this far but disappointed not to be able to finish it. Seems like a good sturdy little desk other than that. Relatively easy to assemble. A couple of the pictures were a little challenging to understand.The desk will fit into a small space...if we ever get it assembled. It was delivered seven days ago and we've worked on assembly since and stopped in frustration. Some of the screw holes don't seem to be deep enough causing inability to lock pieces together. We're not even sure that the desk will end up being "square." The drawer "drop down" feature can't be locked up in place because the latches and holes they should go into aren't aligned with each other. We plan to contact Walker Edison.Fairly easy to assemble. Looks great.Product is scratched and poorly manufactured. Very thin Formica. Not worth the money AT ALL
