Pros- Packed to allow for rough handling. Shipping company damaged boxes but inside product was not damaged due to the amount of buffer in the packaging.- Great heavy weight to the wood- Looks nice once assembled.Cons - The metal pieces used in assembly are not machined well many came stripped and I had to use pliers to turn and screw into place. Also the screws and cam screws do not lock cleanly / drilled cleanly so not all fit most can be worked / twisted to fit snugly but made it difficult as pieces would not stay / be stable till all was together.Did lead to a minor gap on one of desk( not visible unless you get down to floor level. )- Was not problem for me but I can see the instructions being difficult for customers. Nothing is written you only get pictures that do no always show clearly where pieces go as so the lines block showing which screw it lines up with.Overall its a good desk that is much heavier weight than most for this price so was worth it even with the headaches of assembly.The desk comes in two boxes which are meticulously packed. Unfortunately the long desk top in ours had a very sizable dent, showing mdf (see photo). The company wasn’t able to give us a replacement part but did refund part of the purchase price since the imperfection was in a very conspicuous area. I painted the ding, but the dent is still noticeable.Assembly took me about three hours. It is sturdy and I like that there are caps on the feet so it slides easily. I was frustrated by the hardware—close to 50 cam screws and some of them weren’t able to do the 90 degree turn to lock. One was completely stripped out of the bag and there weren’t any extras, so one drawer was assembled with 3/4 screws.I wish there were grommets in the desk top for cord maintenance. We ended up drilling a few. With the privacy panels and pushed against the wall, we were able to hide most cords. I wish the keyboard drawer had a hinged front as well so we could use it as a regular drawer. The cabinet holds a CPU well (we left the back off for ventilation).The dimensions are nice for work area. With a few modifications, it’s a nice looking and functional desk for our home officeVery difficult putting it together and time consuming, the desk looks very nice though. I received it without the hardware, however they solved the problem which I appreciate. The quality is not the best, some pieces were damaged and I was just not in the mood to contact costumer service again. I regret buying it, it is better to invest more money and buying it from a furniture store and have it deliver and set up.officeDurability and beautifulThis was an expensive desk. We bought it so we didn't have to go in to an Ikea. It wasn't easy to put together. There was a missing drill hole and it took an hour to figure that out. They are proud of their desk, but the Swedes do it better.This desk looks so nice in my office! It is shallow but so much more surface space with the L design than my other old desk. It does take a math wizard to assemble-- it took my carpenter husband an entire day and lots of swearing to get it together. The desk looks very nice and I am comfortable using it.It does take a while to get it together. Take your time and check all the parts twice. We had to disassemble a couple times to get it together correctly. Have had one of the screws rip out of the drawer hand already which is a little depressing, since, the unit is only a couple months old. Overall satisfied, other then the before mentioned screw.
