Hello, I ordered this desk about two weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive on Oct 27th but I got it about a week early. Was incredibly fast delivery.Pro's: This desk is very high quality. I was super nervous when I ordered this desk because it was only $40. To be honest after seeing this desk put together I would have paid $100 easily. This desks quality is defiantly around $179.I'm using this desk for a gaming desk, It has plenty of room for my Corsair Air 540 case an my 27"in monitors on top of it.The raised back and sides only goes up about 1' inch and its perfect for any computer case so that the cords go over it and down the side so the wires don't show making a clean look on the desk. I like to cable manage so that the only wires you see is the keyboard an mouses. The one inch lifted back an sides also makes me not worry about my monitor or case falling off.I recommend this desk to all my friends. I have looked at every desk on the market an I am extremely happy i went with this one over an expensive one, Again this desk's quality is worth $179 and its only $40 this is a steal!Only one con and its that you need a drill for the 12 screws that mount the legs to the table. I'm not removing a star because i had a drill an it makes the desk perfectly stable. Does not wobble at all!I received this product on the earliest date it would be delivered and I was very excited. I knew the size would be bigger than I usually have in a desk (which is what I wanted), but it was actually bigger than expected which is still fine. I put it together almost immediately with the help of my brother.I only had 2 problems:1. There were no instructions included in the box. I looked over every piece and could not find anything. After looking for a PDF of it and coming up with nothing, we just decided to wing it, and it was simple enough to not really need instructions just by looking at the picture.2. You really need a drill or good arm strength to screw in the 12 screws that attach the 4 leg parts, since there are no pilot holes. I didn't have a drill, so I had to wait for my dad to get home to screw them in by hand.Overall, putting it together took about a half an hour. Really simple, and I think it's very sturdy for the price. Just be careful so it doesn't chip or hit against anything, I had a tiny piece chip when I placed it against the wall a little too rough.Very satisfied with my purchase. I did have to deduct one star because as others have said here, it did have a corner damaged in transit (I assume). But it's in a rear corner, and because of where the desk is located it's not visible. Even if it was it's not that big a deal. It is true that you will need to drill pilot holes to mount the legs, but I have a drill so that wasn't a problem. Took about a half-hour to assemble, Very intelligent design to the leg structure, and I don't find the cross braces to be in the way at all. It results in a VERY solid table. I am on online simracer, so stability of a table is a consideration due to the side-to-side torques of a force-feedback steering wheel, and this table is as solid as I could have hoped for. It's big, and I have plenty of room for my tower, 24" monitor, speakers, and lamp all sitting side-by-side. And it's still not cluttered. I did a lot of online table shopping prior to making this purchase, and this is far and away the best choice I could have made. All expectations were exceeded. It was not that hard to assemble than I imagined. Thats because i read other reviews and hear what they had to say. Its easy if you have the proper tools. You need a power drill for this, just because there are no holes to drill the holes of the legs that connects to the table wood itself. You need to drill it. After that, everything was easy(See pictures). Assembled in about <45mins by myself only. Arrived after 4 days. Thank God there were minimal to none shipment damage. Happy with my purchase. I'm giving it 4/5 stars for the reason that they can do some improvement on their manual instructions. Can be a little confusing. Also if your abstract IQ is not that good you wont be able to do it. You need a power drill and a plastic mallet.Pretty solid desk. The table top is way heavier than I expected. Make sure to have a drill handy because you have to drill the screws that attach the legs to the bottom of the desk. You can probably do it by hand but a drill will make your life much easier. The two supports that attach towards the middle of the desk tend to get in the way unless you are sitting directly in the middle of the desk, minus half a star for that.Minus another half star because there was mark (not quite a scratch but it won't rub off either) on top of the desk and a slight ding on one of the corners. Might have been caused during shipping because the package arrived in bad condition. As I mentioned the desk is heavy so the carrier might have dragged it around a few times. So the first one came damaged. The packaging of this product isn't at the same standard as many of the larger items i have received from Amazon. However, the replacement came, it was in good shape. This is an easy to medium light item to put together. There are 12 3/4 wood screws that you have to attach the legs into the desk that can get a little tiring if you are using a phillips screw driver, because there aren't pilot holes, and there really can't be because the desk is about an inch thick. It does feel very sturdy as i sit and type and there is plenty of room underneath, you shouldn't bang your knees too often.goodIt's Ok. But not large as I thought.
